In "The Human Impact", I'm going to lead you through my travels of the world, along tectonic fault lines. Throughout my trips, I've been exploring how human civilization and development can greatly shape natural ecosystems for millions of years to come. Shanghai, for example, is one of the most populous cities in the world. It's also has very little natural balance and a blanket of smog, which are the direct result of human interference and industrialization.
On the other side of the spectrum, the Galapagos islands have been relatively unaffected over millions of years by new species and human interaction. Therefore, they will be my first destination on this journey.
